ON CAMPUS

University Athletic Center

Directions: It's on the top floor of the parking garage located on Pratt St. between Penn and Greene Streets. Take the elevator as high up as it goes and walk up the last flight to enter.
Bottom Line: Functional, but definitely not state-of-the-art. Full-time students get free admission into the Athletic Center which includes weight and exercise equipment as well as basketball and racquetball courts.

WALKING DISTANCE

ESPN Zone

Directions: Go east on Pratt St. until you reach the Harbor. ESPN Zone is in the Power Plant building located on the east side of the Harbor, next to the Aquarium.
Bottom Line: Featuring several bars, a grill, and lots of sports games, ESPN Zone is a great place to watch the biggest games of the season. The upper floor has games ranging from shooting hoops to air hockey to a batting cage to many virtual reality games. ESPN Zone is rather expensive, but you can find coupons that might make a trip worth it.
