Not every medical student lives in an apartment. There are plenty of row houses surrounding the campus that are available for rent.

WALKING DISTANCE

Ridgely's Delight
www.ridgelysdelight.org
Address: 653 Washington Blvd.
Parking: You will need an Area 5 permit, available for $20 from the Parking Office at 200 W. Lombard St., in order to park on the streets of Ridgely's Delight. If you are out-of-state, you will need to apply for an out-of-state permit at the MVA before applying for the parking permit.
Bottom Line: Just south of campus, Ridgely's Delight is a popular neighborhood for medical students. Pros: very close to campus, close to some popular medical student bars (Pickles, Camden Pub). Cons: can be noisy with helicopters, people shouting down the street, etc; street parking means that you need to be careful to hide everything in your car and be sure to lock it (steering wheel lock recommended).
