Directions: It's on the northeast corner of the intersection between Greene and Lombard Streets, across from the Gudelsky building.
Bottom Line: You'll undoubtedly spend time in this hall, from orientation to Phone-a-thon activities to Match Day. Davidge Hall, home of the Medical Alumni Association, was designated a National Historic Landmark and is today the oldest medical education building still in continuous use.

National Museum of Dentistry

Directions: It's on Greene Street between Lombard and Baltimore Streets.
Bottom Line: An affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, the museum features historical artifacts, interactive exhibitions, and engaging programs that help expand public awareness of the importance of oral health in overall health. The admission fee is reduced with a student ID.

Westminster Hall and Burying Ground

Directions: It's on the southeast corner of the intersection between Greene and Fayette Streets.
Bottom Line: The gravesites of writer Edgar Allan Poe, Baltimore's first mayor, and generals of the American Revolution and War of 1812 lie right on campus! Tours of the hall, catacombs and burial grounds showcase the creepy history and are given on the first and third weekends of the month from April to November (look for a Halloween special). Reservations required.

Baltimore Duck Tour

Directions: The Ducks leave from the Inner Harbor (Go east on Pratt St.). Purchase tickets by the Baltimore Visitors Center and Harbor Cruises, on the way to the Maryland Science Center along the promenade.
Bottom Line: Tour the city by land and water in the amphibious ducks. You get a free duck quacker and a lot of Baltimore folklore and history. Sites on tour include the Washington Monument, USS Constellation, the Shot Tower, City Hall, Camden Yards, and much more. The tour lasts about 80 minutes, and reservations are recommended.

Babe Ruth Birthplace and Museum

Directions: Turn onto Emory Street from Pratt St. (between Penn and Greene Streets). The Babe Ruth Museum is located in Ridgely's Delight on the right side.

B&O Railroad Museum

Directions: Walk west on Pratt Street. The museum is located on the intersection of Pratt and Poppelton Streets.
Bottom Line: Includes Mount Clare Station and 1884 roundhouse plus a significant collection of railroad artifacts. The museum was damaged due to a heavy 2003 snowstorm and reopened, restored, in November 2004. Onsite parking is free.

Maryland Science Museum

Directions: Walk east on Pratt St. toward the Harbor and turn right on Light Street. The museum is a bit south of the Light Street Pavilion.
Bottom Line: Features exhibits, demonstrations, the Davis Planetarium, and an IMAX theater.

National Aquarium of Baltimore

Directions: Go east on Pratt St. You will reach the harbor after crossing Calvert St. The Aquarium will be on the right side further down the harbor.
Bottom Line: The centerpiece of Baltimore's Inner Harbor. Surround yourself with the sounds of the rainforest and witness the remarkable colors and shapes of over 5,000 birds, fish, and reptiles. Dolphins perform regularly. The best time to visit is before 11am. Though admission is usually steep, there is a weekend in December where many Baltimore attractions offer admission for $1.

Baltimore Zoo

Directions: Going north on MLK Blvd., turn left onto Eutaw St., then left onto Eutaw Pl. Make a right onto Druid Park Lake Dr., and that should take you to the zoo.
Bottom Line: Begin a journey around the world that will bring you face-to-face with more than 2,200 amazing animals. Go through the African Savannah, Rock Island, Chimpanzee Forest, and don't forget the Children's Zoo! Parking is free.

Six Flags America

Directions:Take I-95 or MD-295 south to I-695 east. Merge onto I-97 via Exit 4, then get off at Exit 7 (Rt. 3 south). Rt. 3 will become Rt. 301. Continue down Rt. 301 and make a left onto Rt. 214 west (Central Ave.). Six Flags will be three miles ahead on the right.
Bottom Line: With locations all across the country, Six Flags is famous for its rides, roller coasters, and water rides in a friendly family atmosphere. The park is approximately 27 miles from Baltimore City.
