Parking: Is available next to the building for a monthly fee.
Bottom Line: One of the most popular apartments for Maryland medical students, this once-T-shirt factory has been renovated into spacious apartments with huge oversized windows. Gated community with 24-hour fitness center available. Rates start at $860 for a studio and around $1350 for a 2-bedroom with den (advertised, but you might be able to contact them and get a room for less).

The Redwood

Directions: From the main hospital entrance, go east on Redwood St. The apartment lies on the corner of Redwood and Eutaw Streets.
Parking: Is available in the garage under the apartment for $110 monthly.
Bottom Line: On the corner of Redwood and Eutaw Streets, the Redwood houses many medical students in a gated community featuring a 24-hour fitness center, oversized windows, and plush wall-to-wall carpeting. Rates start at $1105 for one-bedroom, one bath and $1230 for a two-bedroom, two bath (advertised, but you might be able to contact them and get a room for less).
